T-Phase begins with a deep dive into modern pain neuroscience. While this is a topic in every Z-Health course, understanding the neurology of peripheral and central pain processes is a key piece of the puzzle in both rehabilitation and performance training.
As your knowledge of pain neuroscience grows, it becomes obvious that licensure-appropriate hands-on coaching can be of enormous value for your athletes. Understanding hands-on work through a neural lens makes everything you have ever seen or done “make sense.” Most importantly, in T-Phase you will learn practical, high-speed assessment and screening procedures to know where and what type of hands-on assistance your client needs.
Beyond this, fundamental to a deeper understanding of pain and rehabilitation is a clear view of the impact of certain midline body structures. In T-Phase you will explore assessments and training drills for multiple elements of the cranial, lymphatic, respiratory, and visceral systems that are incredibly important in creating better long-term results.
Finally, you will explore ACTIVE neural mobility drills specifically focused on 16 different cranial and peripheral nerves. These tools are often incredibly fast, powerful drills for improving both pain and performance.
T-Phase is the most diverse course of our core curriculum.
